Surge – If you’ve ever needed an energy boost to power through your busy day or workout, look no further than SURGE. This all-natural superfood blend combines the antioxidant power of cacao with the energising properties of chia seeds, lucuma, and coconut powder. Together, they work to energize your body, fight oxidative stress, and keep you feeling revitalised. Denise Kelly developed SURGE to ease you into the world of superfood blends. She has spent a lot of time ensuring all the blends in the Collection taste great. That being said, SURGE is a little closer to those “naughty” comforts you might be craving. It can be taken as its own blend or mixed in with others from the Collection, ensuring you’re getting all the nutritional goodness and loving every sip.
Ingredients:
- Cacao – packed with magnesium to combat fatigue and enhance energy levels
- Coconut Powder– provides sustainable energy while aiding hydration
- Chia Seeds – a powerhouse of nutrients, including omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and fiber; they stabilise energy levels and keep you feeling fuller for longer
- Lucuma Powder – a natural sweetener with a low glycaemic index; supports steady energy release
Recipes:
Chocolate Protein Balls - mix 60g ground almond or cashew nuts, 60g chopped dates and 1 scoop of Surge. Roll into balls and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
Chocolate Milk - heat 230ml of nut or oat milk. Stir in 2 scoops of Surge.
Berry Chocolate Smoothie - blend 1 scoop of Surge, a handful of frozen berries, 2 bananas, 1 handful of greens (spinach or kale), and 1 avocado.
Chocolate Oatmeal - cook 60g oats with 220 ml water. Stir in 1 scoop of Surge.
Chocolate Mousse - blend 1 ripe avocado, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 2 tbsp of coconut milk, and 1 scoop of Surge. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
Chocolate Ice Cream - blend 1 scoop of Surge, 2 frozen bananas, 1 tsp of almond butter and 50mls of nut milk. Add to a container and put in freezer for at least 2 hours.
